High rates of denial for U.S. Visas

The National Foundation for American Policy just released a brief highlighting data from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. There has been a recent decrease in the number of H-1B visas awarded by the U.S. government. Click here for the report.

Trinidad and Tobago has seen a very small change in the number of H-1B from 2007 to 2010. Data from the Human Development Group - a consulting company in the U.S. - indicate that the 1,288, 1,183, 1,133, and 1,285 U.S. H-1B visas were awarded to Trinidad and Tobago nationals in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 respectively.
